LATE CHECK-IN:

If you are arriving after 4 – 7 p.m., please check-in at the Catholic University’s Pryzbyla Information Desk open 7:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily or after 10 p.m., call their 24/7 line at (202)319-5200. The Information Desk handles routine issues such as lock-outs, maintenance requests, lost and found, noise complaints, and requests for toiletries or extra blankets and pillows.

DORMS: Lodging will include linens (2 flat sheets, towel, pillow, blanket). Each participant has their own room with a private entrance, only sharing a bathroom and lounge within the suite. Laundry rooms with washers and dryers are available 24/7 on the first floor of both dorms. These come at no additional cost, they are free for the guests to utilize. 

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS: The dining hall has received all dietary restrictions and allergies. While CUA will do its best to accommodate dietary needs, we encourage you to bring supplemental options to ensure that you have what you need. There is a Trader Joe’s (Google Maps) within walking distance of CUA located at 701 Monroe St NE, as well as mini fridges in each dorm lounge.

PACKING: Please bring a notebook! The Forum is generally a low-tech environment, with exceptions made for attendees who require assistive technology or accessibility accommodations. If you prefer a fitted sheet, please bring one in size Twin XL. If you need hangers, a clothes iron or a hair dryer, please bring as well. You do not need to pack a tote bag or reusable water bottle; GIVEN will provide these for you!
DRESS CODE: Business casual dress is appropriate for attending the conferences, workshops, and liturgies throughout the week. Be prepared for chilly air conditioning for indoor programming and in the dorms. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. For the Catholic Women Leaders Celebration on Saturday night, the dress code is cocktail attire.
MAILING PACKAGES: Conference guests may send or receive packages or mail through the University Post Office (Monday–Friday: Noon–5 p.m.), located on the ground floor of the Pryzbyla Center. The University Post Office can also accept UPS and FedEx packages for pick-up only. Guests are welcome to mail items to themselves at:

FITNESS CENTER: The Eugene I. Kane Student Health and Fitness Center (next to St. Vincent de Paul Chapel) is CUA’s on-campus, 7,000- square-foot gym, offering guests functional training space for cardio and weight training needs. Summer Hours: Monday–Friday: 4–10 p.m. Weekends: 8 a.m.–12 p.m.
