Debbie Cunningham
Debbie Cunningham is chief investment officer (CIO) of Global Liquidity Markets. She joined Federated Hermes in 1981 as a performance analyst and has more than 35 years of investment experience. In 1994, she took over the management of the Taxable Liquidity group. In addition to the domestic Taxable Liquidity portfolios, Debbie also oversees the management of the domestic Tax-Exempt Liquidity portfolios as well as the Offshore Liquidity products.
Debbie is a current member of the CFA® Society of Pittsburgh and previously held the titles of director and president. She serves as a board member for Robert Morris University and the Maryknoll Lay Missioners, in addition to being the Chair of the Executive Leadership committee for the Greater Allegheny Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease. Debbie is a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council and was named one of Barron’s 100 most influential women in US finance for 2022. She is also part of the Treasury Market Practices Group, an advisory group that meets with the New York Fed on a regular basis and aims to obtain essential perspectives on the economy from both Main Street and Wall Street. Additionally, Debbie is a former board member for Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation.
Debbie earned a bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University and her MBA from Robert Morris University. She is a CFA® charterholder.
