Kathryn Whitaker

Kathryn Whitaker believes life is about making your YES mean something and following the prompting of the Holy Spirit. She’s a wife, mom of six, award-winning author, podcaster and sometimes SiriusXM radio host. She is a sixth-generation Texan who was raised as an evangelical Protestant and then converted to Catholicism on the eve of her wedding. On social media, Kathryn shares her honest take on family life and living the Gospel, all while drinking Dr Pepper and cheering on the Texas Aggies.

Kathryn is the author of Live Big, Love Bigger, an award-winning book about living an intentional life. She hosts two podcasts, NICU Heroes and NICU Babies Parent Support, for NICU professionals and caregivers for a national non-profit, Hand to Hold. She writes regularly for Mothering Spirit and serves as the Executive Director for the Texas A&M Association of Former Yell Leaders. Kathryn obtained a B.S. degree (Texas A&M) and M.S. degree (Iowa State), both in agriculture, with minors in marketing and communications. Kathryn and her husband, Scott, live with their family in Austin, Texas.
