Julie Larkin

Julie Larkin is the founder and executive director of Girl Talk, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to building a sisterhood of self-worth for women in middle school, high school, and college. Julie began Girl Talk in 2012 after witnessing too many women doubt their inherent worth, experience shame and self-harm, and journey through their struggles alone. Girl Talk confronts this crisis of self-worth through programs of personal storytelling, deeper conversation, and authentic friendship. With her undergraduate degree in psychology and masters in business, Julie has spent several years working in higher-ed, non-profits, and startup organizations including The Catholic University of America Busch School of Business and Leonine Forum. She loves developing ideas, experiencing them come to life, and witnessing lives transformed in the process! Although she currently resides in our nation’s capital, Julie is a Jersey girl at heart, with a weakness for Wawa, a love of board games, and an addiction to snapping too many pictures.
