Joshua Sweeney, CPA
Director of Operations & Finance

Originally from the warm plains of Alabama, Josh has made the lighthouse brightened shores of Connecticut his home for nearly twenty years, bringing with him a spirit of service shaped by the values of faith, stewardship, and a desire to build structures that reflect the dignity of the human person. With nearly two decades of experience in finance and business management, he offers a deeply principled and mission-aligned approach to organizational leadership, strengthened by extensive work in treasury management, audit and compliance, and faith-based good works.

Formed by advanced studies in Forensic Accounting and Business Administration, as well as serving as a Certified Public Accountant, Josh grounds his leadership in the Catholic understanding of responsible stewardship, solidarity, and the ethical use of resources for the common good.

Additionally passionate about education, Josh is an Adjunct Professor of Accounting and Business at the University of Hartford, and he currently sits on the Board of the Academy of the Holy Family, a Connecticut based Catholic day and boarding college preparatory school for national and international young women. In his free time, he delights in life’s simple joys. Most especially, adventuring through ordinary days with his wife and four children, who keep his home filled with laughter, wonder, and the beautiful kind of rhythm that only a love and grace-filled family can bring.
