Jona Winkelman is a wife and homeschooling mother of three girls ages 8, 6 and 4. Prior to her adventure into family life she completed a Sacred Theological License (S.T.L) in Dogmatic Theology at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, the Angelicum, in Rome. The last four of her nine years in Rome she worked at the Vatican as an official guide of the Scavi, the Vatican Necropolis and Tomb of Saint Peter the Apostle. She has taught in a variety of venues, including college level theology, high school theology, and adult formation in parishes. She currently teaches nationally about charism discernment through The Catherine of Siena Institute’s Called and Gifted programs.
