Thérèse Bermpohl
Thérèse Bermpohl is Executive Director of the Office of Marriage, Family, and Respect Life in the Diocese of Arlington. She holds a BA in Theology from Trinity College and an MA in Theology from the Dominican House of Studies, both in Washington, D.C. She previously worked for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), both in the Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs and in the Office of Natural Family Planning, followed by two years teaching morality at Elizabeth Seton High School in Bladensburg, MD. For six years she worked in campus ministry at The Catholic University of America and then at George Washington University. Thérèse joined the Diocese of Arlington in 2005 as Assistant Director of the Office of Family Life and Director of the Respect Life Office and became Director in 2006. In 2016, she completed a 3-year spiritual direction program through the Lanteri Center in Denver.
