Erin McAtee
Erin K. McAtee (GIVEN Alumna ’19) is a New York City-based visual artist, and the co-founder and executive director of Arthouse2B, an arts nonprofit founded in 2020, dedicated to forming artists to create a flourishing culture in New York City and beyond. To date, Arthouse2B has provided new opportunities to support the vocations of over 1,000 artists in many meaningful ways: producing new works, developing artist retreats, hosting small gatherings for meals and formation, and supporting a number of artists who have integrated their formation from Arthouse2B into independent projects.
In her own art practice, Erin expresses the heart of her prayer through multimedia processes including painting, fiber art, printmaking, video art, and sound, often collaborating with performance artists to craft immersive installations. She holds a Master of Fine Arts from Brooklyn College and was a recipient of the Social Practice CUNY Actionist grantÂ, allowing her to expand her work with the women and children cared for by the Sisters of Life in Manhattan.
