Dr. Mary Ann Sorra

Mary Ann Sorra was born and raised in Baltimore, though her family is originally from the Philippines. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Maryland. In 2001, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Prior to partnering with Saint Agnes to start Natural Fertility Care she was in private practice and also held a teaching position for the Ob/Gyn residents at Sinai Hospital.  Dr. Sorra stopped prescribing artificial contraception and adopted the use of natural family planning in her medical practice in March 2009.

She believes she became a better doctor after making that transition – better able to care for the whole human person, body and soul. She trained at the Pope Paul VI Institute and became a Medical Consultant for NaPro technology in April 2011. She is Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Association of Pro-life Ob/Gyns. She and her husband, Jack Reybold, reside in Catonsville.
