Christina Lamas
Ms. Christina Lamas has served as Executive Director of the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM) since 2016, bringing more than 25 years of experience in Catholic ministry. She began as a parish volunteer, where she discovered her passion for empowering young people to live out their faith and grow in their relationship with Christ. Christina holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in social work from the University of Southern California. Prior to joining NFCYM, she served as Associate Director for the Office of Religious Education and Division Coordinator of Youth Ministry for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Throughout her career, she has held parish, regional, and national leadership roles and collaborated with numerous ministry organizations in the U.S. and abroad, offering expertise in leadership development, pastoral outreach, and strategic planning. Christina currently serves on the boards of Catholic Relief Services, the Leadership Roundtable, the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA), the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), and the Southeast Pastoral Institute (SEPI).
