Abby Martinez is in her junior year of college at the University of Missouri, where she is studying Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communications. Originally from Austin, TX her faith became important to her young, through involvement with her home parish, and furthermore her campus Newman Center. Her confirmation saint is St. Therese of Lisieux where she is inspired by her “little way” but the way that she loved others so big. She hopes to pursue a career that allows her to connect with others and share their stories – something she hopes to gain further experience during her time with GIVEN.
