Ochie Dinoso
Executive Assistant
Ochie considers John Paul II’s visit to Manila for World Youth Day 1995 as the fuel to the fire burning in her soul. The saintly Pope inspired her to be more generous, leading her to a life of service, in the midst of fulfilling one’s ordinary duties.
From 1995 to 2009, she served as volunteer, consultant and board member for the Developmental Advocacy of Women Volunteerism Foundation, Inc. an organization established through the inspiration of JPII’s close friend, Blessed Don Alvaro del Portillo. She also volunteered for the World Youth Day in 2005 (Koln, Germany) and 2008 (Sydney, Australia).
After earning a CPA license and degrees in business administration and accountancy in 1998, she began a professional career as an auditor for PriceWaterhouseCoopers. By 2009, she was certified in management accounting and I.T. audit, finished her MBA and was working as an I.T. auditor for the Asian Development Bank when she had to answer to a higher calling.
That was the calling to the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. Shortly after making her vows in the same Cathedral where she was baptized, she moved to the US and has since dedicated her life to her husband, Vincent and their growing family. She is currently a tutor for Saint Philomena Apostolate, a Catholic homeschooling cooperative based in Baltimore, MD through which she educates her children from home. She is grateful for the opportunity to offer her skills and knowledge through he GIVEN Institute.
