Sr. Caridad Sandoval, OCD
Sr. Caridad, a GIVEN Board of Directors member, grew up in Los Angeles County and entered the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles in 1982, making final vows in 1991. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of La Verne, California, a Master of Arts in Moral Theology from Holy Apostles in Cromwell, Connecticut, and a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Scranton University, Pennsylvania. For most of Sister Caridad’s time in Community, she has served in educational apostolates including childcare and elementary schools as a teacher and an administrator. She has also served as Director of Religious Education for two parishes. Currently, she is serving at Sacred Heart School in Palm Desert, California.
