SUMMARY:Work/Life Balance: GIVEN Academy with Jackie Mulligan
DESCRIPTION:Reform is a Christ-centered wellness ministry. They redefine health as the state of body and soul together—and it’s their mission to empower you to redefine your health and reclaim your well-being and identity in Jesus. As a society\, we’ve become addicted to stress-sustaining habits. We accept demands to do more and multitask to increase productivity. Through the framework of Reform’s nine Wellness Pillars: Faith\, Sleep\, Stress Management\, Personal Growth\, Nutrition\, Play\, Community\, and Space\, Jackie will educate and equip you with tools to recenter your life and work in Christ. You are cordially invited to do less and return to a life of simplicity centered on the One who heals\, renews\, and reforms. \nFor the first time\, you can attend GIVEN Academy either online or in-person at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine in Washington\, DC! In-person attendance includes early access to the Shrine\, prayer with the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy and veneration of Saint John Paul II’s relic\, and a networking reception before the presentation. Both in-person and online attendance include Q&A with Jackie\, a resource notebook on the presentation topic\, and access to the session recording after attending. \nAbout the Presenter \nJackie Mulligan is the Chief Eucharistic Officer and foundress of Reform Wellness\, a Christ-Centered Wellness Ministry. SUMMARY:GIVEN Academy: From Water into Wine: A Practical and Pastoral Approach to turn Resources into Impact with Ashley Conley
DESCRIPTION:Not too long ago a Parish Finance Committee Chair suggested parishes don’t need to budget.  “God will provide” he said.  While it is true that God will provide\, that doesn’t absolve us of our responsibility to be good stewards of the gifts\, or in this case\, financial resources\, He has given us. Better yet\, if we want to actually “Go and Make Disciples”  we will need to ensure we have the resources available and that those resources are aligned to support the mission. The budgeting process when well designed and collaboratively implemented will do just that. This presentation will walk through the who\, what\, how and why of budgeting\, while also identifying the pitfalls along the budget journey. \nLed by Ashley Conley \nRegistration includes: \n-livestream link \n-chance to ask questions live of the presenter \n-customized notebook with resources
